Working Table Mechatronics Alliance

This working table was organized as a webinar to make it more flexible and efficient for the participants without the need to travel to meet in person. This proved to be a very functional solution working well for all participants.

At the beginning of the event in Košice, Viliam Ďuraš and Lubomira Levocka introduced the NUCLEI project and the purpose of pilot actions and working tables in particular to the participants in Slovakia. Then the Austrian partners joined from Linz, the participants on both sides were introduced, and Elmar Paireder presented Mechatronik-Cluster Business Upper Austria and its activities. After the introductions the presentations of the experts Florian Eicher and Thomas Kent Rohrberg followed. They provided valuable and inspiring information on their experience with Industry 4.0 – Maturity Model and Intelligence – From AI Technology to Ready-to-use Applications, respectively. The third originally planned presentation on blockchain technology for industry was not realized due to organizational reasons.

The event fulfilled its objective, i.e. the experts on both sides were able to get in contact and share and exchange their expertise in their fields of Industry 4.0.

Cyberphysical Systems, Big Data Processing and Digital Security in Industry 4.0 driven Manufacturing

The seminar was a part of the Academia-Industry Matching Event on the Mutual Impact of Industry 4.0 and High-Energy Physics which was organized by HepTech based in CERN, Geneva, and Technical University Kosice and Cluster AT+R. This professional seminar was focused on the issues in the area of cyberphysical systems and big data in application for Industry 4.0 with links to knowledge and results of research projects. During the seminar various application solutions were presented both directly in industry or in the area of R&D support.

Industry 4.0 in Mechatronics, Robotics and Automation Manufacturing Systems

On November 28, 2017 Klaster AT+R organised an open seminar on "Industry 4.0 in Mechatronics, Robotics and Automation Manufacturing Systems" in order to discuss selected aspects of Industry 4.0 implementation in industrial and social practice.

The seminar involved representatives of industry, academia and local government. Experts presented their projects that could be used to set up a platform bringing research results into practice with the involvement of companies and local authorities and services. The discussion demonstrated an interest of the involved parties and a potential for successful cooperation.
